The Roma Support Group is pleased to offer two part-time posts:
21 hrs per week, £16,598 per annum inc. LW and pension (NJC scale SO1)
You will be responsible for running advocacy schemes for young Roma refugees and asylum-seekers, providing 1-2-1 support and empowering them to be engaged in advocacy/ campaigning activities at a local and regional level.
This post is funded by The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund and City Parochial Foundation for 3 years.

14 hrs per week, £9,172 per annum inc. LW and pension (NJC scale 6)
You will be responsible for providing Roma refugees and asylum seekers with 1-2-1 advocacy support combating their destitution and enabling their access to healthcare, legal provisions and housing.

For both posts you must have experience of advocacy work, be highly motivated and have empathy with Roma refugee and asylum-seeking children. Fluency in Romany, Polish or other East European languages is desirable.
