ESOL classes for Roma adults, who are residents of the London Borough of Newham have been organised in co-operation with Newham College for Further Education, Newham Library Services and the Library in East Ham. The classes meet twice a week in the East Ham Library.

“I have met some great people and willing learners. They are keen to improve their English skills and are acutely aware that these are essential to make their lives in the UK. The group is lively and cheerful with a wonderful sense of humour. At the same time, they are very serious about their studies. Overall it has been a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to working with my Roma students again.”
