Employment Rights

Pay and Work Rights Helpline: Workers can call the free Pay and Work Rights helpline to seek advice and information about five specific employment rights: National Minimum Wage (NMW), Agricultural Minimum Wage (AMW), Working hours limits, Employment Agency Standards (EAS) and the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA). Callers can ask to speak in confidence with an advisor in their own language; they just need to identify their language when calling. More information in Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Slovak, Lithuanian and Latvian is available by accessing http://www.direct.gov.uk/payandworkrights
