About the Mishto Campaign
Everyone should have fair and equal access to public services and have a positive experience with education, regardless of their background. But this is not always the case for those from Roma communities. This is why we have launched the Mishto campaign, to encourage services to adapt to meet the needs of Roma and help improve their lives in the UK.
Mishto is what Roma people say to describe something as good. A service that provides fair access for Roma people is Mishto. Anyone who supports or joins our campaign is Mishto!
Since launching earlier this year, we have had an incredible amount of interest from organisations wanting to sign the pledge. We have also awarded a number of Mishto Quality Marks to organisations that have demonstrated a significant commitment to making their services more inclusive and accessible to Roma communities.
